Hello. An update on my life. Its currently winter break now and London is being characteristically itself (rain and overcast skies.). The sun sets at 3ish mid afternoon and I'm home alone on my winter break thats not due to end until 3 weeks later. I should be studying, but haven't gotten into the hang of it yet, so i'm just being sedentary and wasting my time away. So, singing is just about the most calorie busting activity I have. Yup.
Acquired a new (ex!) microphone as a present recently, so here is a recording to celebrate! :) hmm...not fantastic but oh well! There are 2 versions, the 2nd is more similar to the original singer (Aoi Teshima's singing..i think) and so happens to be shorter by one verse. The first is more of my interpretation? Didn't try and imitate her airy style(?). You probably can't tell the difference perhaps, so I shall cut the crap. =_= Until i can decide which to keep, here's both! @.@

Cover of "テルーの唄" (Teru no uta) originally by Aoi teshima from the movie "ゲド戦記" (Tales from Earthsea).
Lyrics translation:
At twilight above the clouds, the hawk which is always flying alone, must be sad.
In the midst of the silent wind, he cannot rest his wings that are clutching the air.
What can I compare my heart to?
My heart is like the hawk's.
What can I compare my heart to?
I feel sad just like him wheeling in the sky.
In the shadow of a rock in the drizzling rain, a small flower in bloom, must be painful.
In the dim coloured rain, she has no one to touch and love her faint peach petals.
What can I compare my heart to?
My heart is like the flower's.
What can I compare my heart to?
I feel as painful as being exposed to the rain.
